Hello Bobcats,

Our next Social Media Storytelling  team member is Sam Spinale who is a sophomore journalism major with a minor in sports management and a certificate in social media!

"I'm so excited to create a lot of fun content this semester! As a freshman, I initially decided to take more of a route in the news and information side of things, but have since gotten a little more involved with the strategic communication side, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Social media is a huge part of my life and I'm so grateful that Ohio University showed me that it can be more than just a hobby.

I love working in sports and have had many amazing career opportunities that I'll forever cherish. I was a reporter in NASCAR for two and a half years and am now a public relations and social media representative for a driver in NASCAR, as well. I'm also heavily involved on campus in @scrippsprssa, @bobcatathletics, and much more, so you'll probably catch me on campus running from one meeting to the next!

After graduation, I hope to continue working in the racing industry, but for now, I'm enjoying my time in Athens and soaking up every moment along the way. If there is ever anything that myself or another social media team member can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out!"
