For 15+ summers, I dreaded the heat. Not just because of the temperature - but because I was hiding. 

Hiding my body under layers, hiding my shame under jackets, even when it was 90+ degrees outside.

I was uncomfortable, physically and emotionally.

I was tired of missing out on my own life.

Slowly, painfully, but surely I did what I had to do, to change. 

And now? Summer 2025 is here… and for the first time in a long time, I’m ready for it. ☀️🩷
