## Caption

Taylor Morrison aka @WeOpen airs a strong reaction to #lornasimpson show at the Met - which I have not seen yet. There is more than a grain of truth here and reiterates something about the courage it takes to be an art critic that @robertasmithnyc and I have always talked about. And practiced. 
Start with the work.  Stay with the work. Not only and always the “story.” 
A good cause does not automatically equal a good work of art.  Today’s critics need to keep this in mind, some.

No one is saying this show should not have taken place.  No one is bemoaning this artist showing at the Met.  Someone is saying what they think of what they saw.
