Joffrey Italy faculty, Hannah Baumgarten, Founding Co-Director of Dance NOW! Miami, is a Juilliard graduate whose extensive career spans performance, choreography, and education across the U.S. and internationally. Raised in both California and Israel, she has danced lead roles in works by iconic choreographers and performed with numerous companies. Baumgarten’s choreography has been presented on three continents, and she has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Co-Director Diego Salterini. She has restaged major historical works, taught at renowned institutions worldwide, and held long-term faculty positions in Florida. She is also a certified Pilates instructor and experienced grant panelist.⁠
