10 Days after the WNBA’s investigation we have results, tickets have plummeted after Caitlin Clark’s injury, and can Paige Bueckers be the best player in the league?

The WNBA released a statement to no surprise by any fans… nothing was found in the investigation and the flames were likely fanned by lies on social media. This really put a damper on the opening weekend for the league, which can’t have a cloud of messiness surrounding it this year.

Indiana Fever tickets have dropped 42% over the next 2 weeks since Caitlin Clark’s injury was announced… from $137 down to $80. The Fever’s next game against the Chicago Sky saw tickets see a massive drop as well. Fans that have to travel to Indiana and paid for hotels, flights, are obviously all dissapointed and took to twitter to express how upset they were. We hope that this isn’t too much of a hit to the Fever as a team itself, and that Caitlin can return to 100% in short order.

Diana Taurasi came out in an interview and said that Paige Bueckers “will be the best player in the WNBA.” Paige is definitely grounded, patient and prepared, but saying that she will be the best player in the league might be far fetched… especially when you look at other rookies around the league. The WNBA’s Rookie of the Year race will be tight between Sonia Citron and Paige Beuckers!

Let me know what you guys think of these WNBA updates in the comments!
