Our team just received 21 national awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), and they all celebrate one thing: the work we do to spotlight Kern High School District students.⁣

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.⁣
And honestly? That’s kind of a big deal. YOU’RE kind of a big deal, and that’s why we’re here.⁣

Every photo.⁣
Every Reel. ⁣
Every magazine spread.⁣
Every story, stat, infographic, and moment in between. We do it because your accomplishments deserve to be seen, celebrated, and remembered.⁣
⁣
This year, NSPRA recognized Kern High Network’s work in graphic design, photography, videography, print, writing, creative campaigns, and overall student coverage.⁣
⁣
It’s a small team—just four of us full-time and a few incredible freelancers—covering 19 high schools and beyond.⁣
⁣
But we do it because the students, families, staff, and community of the Kern High School District are worth showing up for.⁣
⁣
And we’re able to do what we do because of the support from our KHSD leadership, community partners, and our director, who trusts and believes in our creative vision.⁣
⁣
We’d also like to thank NSPRA and CalSPRA for providing a platform to highlight the hard work happening every day in school communications.⁣
⁣
This isn’t just a win for us—it’s a win for the entire district. ⁣
So, take a bow, KHSD community.⁣
We’re just here to make sure the spotlight follows you.⁣
