Hours before first pitch at Citi Field, Miguel Rojas was already at work, locked in on the little things that make a big difference. Watching him rep backhands with that level of precision reminded me why he’s one of the best defenders I ever shared a clubhouse with.

I recorded this not just because it’s cool to watch, but because I know how much I would’ve loved to see this kind of work up close when I was trying to make the jump.
