Sussex County swept the wcthunderbolts with a 4-3 win on Thursday night at Ozinga Field in Crestwood, Illinois. The Miners have now won seven straight and improved their record to 14-5. Sussex County now heads to Sauget to play the gatewaygrizzlies in another three-game road contest.

Reliever Ronnie Voacolo entered the game in the seventh with the Miners clinging to a one-run lead. Voacolo immediately fanned four straight ThunderBolts en route to a six-out save.
