#repost thegrio 🎙️ Joy is back, y’all — and she’s bringing the mic with her. joyannreid

After the abrupt cancellation of her MSNBC show “The ReidOut,” Emmy-nominated journalist and truth-teller Joy Reid is stepping boldly into podcasting with “The Joy Reid Show.”

This time? It’s her voice, her people, her way.

Launching June 9 across YouTube and major podcast platforms, the show promises sharp political insight, cultural critique, and yes, some much-needed laughter.

With episodes airing Mondays, Wednesdays, and “Freestyle Fridays,” Reid is creating space for deep dives into headlines, real-time convo with listeners, and even joy-filled breaks from politics.

From Newark Mayor Ras Baraka to comedian Amber Ruffin, her first guests reflect the bold, brilliant energy Reid is known for. And with plans to expand to five days a week, she’s building more than a podcast — she’s building a community.

🗣️ #GrioFam, will you be tuning in? What do YOU want to hear Joy break down on the mic? Let us know ⤵️
