With the goaltenders requesting to get some puck touches in and situational awareness, we worked in some creativity today on our glove warm-up. As a coach, I found my growth is based on listening to my students/clients and creating fluid situations that address areas they would like to build on during their off-season. Most importantly, when the goaltenders are given input into their workout, it allows them to develop a true self-awareness of their own game and , I find, that their improvement and confidence grows faster.
