## Caption

The return of wolves to the West Coast is an inspiring conservation success story – one made possible because legal protections have allowed them to disperse into new territories. 

At the end of 2024, there were 75 known wolf families across the three-state region. There’s plenty more habitat so recovery remains in the early stages.
