Our own Max Negin recently clinched his sixth Emmy Award, this time for his exceptional work as a digital replay operator during NBC’s 2024 Paris Olympics coverage.

While the Emmy is a career highlight, Negin sees the greater reward in what he brings back to the classroom after nearly a month on assignment last summer.

In our recent Today at Elon release – see link in bio – the assistant professor of cinema and television arts discussed his role and the lessons he’ll share with students on campus. This included how a moment of quick thinking helped avert an on-air mishap before an audience of millions.
