#TSRTrialWatch: Whew! During her second day on the stand, Diddy’s former assistant “Mia” finished her direct testimony about the abuse and sexual assault she endured while working for the mogul. Mia underwent a tough cross-examination from Diddy’s lawyer #BrianSteel, who tried to undermine her previous statements about their relationship.

Steel presented various pieces of evidence from Mia’s social media accounts, in which she posed alongside Diddy, promoted his products, and shared messages of gratitude toward him. As Steel showed each piece of evidence, he reminded Mia of her previous testimony and questioned why she would share such happy messages about a man she said traumatized her and ruined her life.

One of the toughest parts of the cross occurred just before court adjourned for lunch break. Mia stated she was afraid of upsetting Diddy because they were “best friends” outside of the abuse and other allegations.
