Changes are coming to European travel that could impact you.

Here’s everything you need to know about the ETA, the ETIAS and the EES 👇

✈️ If you’re travelling to Europe you might need an EES. EES stands for Entry/Exit System and is expected to become operational in October 2025.

🇬🇧 If you’re planning to visit the UK you might an ETA. The system is currently live and costs £16. You can apply for an ETA using the official ETA app and you should get an answer within a few minutes.

🌍 The ETIAS (Electronic Travel Authorisation System) is expected to be live in the last quarter of 2026 - so you have a bit of time. This will be a requirement to enter up to 30 European countries.
