Keith Williams Steps Down After decades of advocacy, Keith Williams has officially retired as Executive Director of the Memphis-Shelby County Education Association. A true staple in Memphis education, Williams served as MSCEA President (2014–2018) before leading the union as director until now.

Dolores Rivers is expected to step in as interim. 👩🏽‍🏫

Even in retirement, Williams says he’s not stepping away from service—he’ll remain on the MSCS School Board and hopes to travel more… if he can get his wife on board. ✈️❤️

Despite past controversy over potential conflicts between his roles, Williams says his work will speak for itself.
