AKP Sports Foundation (AKP) is the fastest growing Asian-American sports non-profit organization in the country. AKP uses sports as a powerful tool to unite communities, empower the next generation of leaders, and serve marginalized groups through outreach initiatives.

The Korean-American Soccer Tournament (KAST) is one of AKP’s flagship events and is the largest event hosted by AKP. KAST serves as a platform for Korean American and Asian-American student-athletes to build lifelong friends, foster community, and celebrate their shared heritage through the game of soccer. KAST is held twice a year in the East Coast and the Midwest.

This year’s KAST EAST was one of the largest tournaments to date with over 15 universities participating. The tournament was also opened to local men’s and women’s club teams in the East Coast. In addition to the soccer tournament, KAST EAST 2025 featured a Cares Initiative, the service and outreach component embedded into every major AKP Events. This year’s Cares Initiative was held in partnership with Boost Others, 9 Million Reasons, Hope for New York, and Blessings of Hope where tournament participants put together food care packages for impoverished families in the New York City area.
