Nearly 15,000 pets found their forever homes nationwide, thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's "Empty the Shelters" event.

Many of its kennels were cleared as adopters stepped up to give some animals a chance. But the shelter continues to receive new animals daily, and many are still waiting for a family of their own.
