A tribute to the STRONG WOMEN of the Boston Marathon:

Thank you for elevating the game, not just in competition, but in empowerment. You make this sport the most welcoming and enjoyable experience anyone could ask for. I have never felt so seen or heard by anyone I have had the opportunity to race with. The camaraderie I feel with each of you in marathons and life motivates me to be the best version of myself. 💛💛💛 

A tribute to des_linden (🐐):
Thank you for paving the way for us all. I remember watching workout videos of you back in college when I didn’t know anything about the marathon. Your patience and determination to put in the hard work even if you didn’t immediately see results was awe-inspiring. You taught me that as long as you “keep showing up,” big things would happen. And that they did. You single-handedly instilled hope in the next generation of marathoners by not only winning the Boston Marathon in 2018, but by doing it with such grace and humility.
You are the goat in my book now and forevermore.
