Congrats to our guy Mike Zito (ZitoRocks) for taking home Best Blues Rock Album for “Life Is Hard” at The 46th Annual Blues Music Awards—put on by The Blues Foundation in Memphis, Tennessee on Thursday May 8th.

Also in the mix was fellow Blood Brothers maestro Albert Castaglia (AlbertCastiglia), whose “Righteous Souls” album was nominated alongside his guitar brother and bandmate.

Bill once said that he tries to be available for life to happen to him; “We’re in this life and if you’re not available the sort-of ordinary time goes past and you didn’t live it … but if you’re available, life gets huge. You’re really living it”.

Mike and Albert are truly living it every time they step out onto that stage and let it rip—and all of us should do the same.

Congrats to a couple of bad-ass Blood Brothers on this incredible feat—next gig with the man, the myth, the Murray coming up on June 8th at RedRocksCo!
