Asian Lettuce Wraps 🥬⁣

The flavor of this meat mixture is on point and the fresh crunch from the lettuce wraps is amazing, especially with summer rolling around and the weather warming up! ☀️⁣
⁣
Really simple to throw this meal together and the meat stays good for several days in the fridge which makes for perfect leftovers 🙌🏼⁣
⁣
Ingredients: ⁣
1 lb ground beef of choice ( I used grass-fed beef but any type of meat will work) ⁣
1 small onion (or 1/2 large) ⁣
1 TBPS coconut oil ⁣
1/4 cup tamari⁣
2 tbsp @lakanto golden monk fruit sweetener ⁣
1 orange bell pepper ⁣
1/3 cup crushed cashews ⁣
Green lettuce leaves for wraps⁣
Seasonings: ⁣
1/2 tsp ginger powder ⁣
1/2 tsp Chipotle powder ⁣
1/2 tsp garlic powder ⁣
Salt/pepper to taste ⁣
Optional: sesame seeds & green onions for garnish ⁣
⁣
Directions: ⁣
1) Heat coconut oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. ⁣
2) Dice onions and add to pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes stirring as needed⁣
3) Dice up bell pepper and add to onions. ⁣
4) Add meat to vegetables and turn heat to low ⁣
5) In a small bowl combine tamari, sweetener, and seasonings. Add to pan and stir well. ⁣
6) Serve in lettuce wraps and enjoy! ⁣
