I often get asked, 'do you eat healthy all the time? Do you ever eat any bad foods?' •

Of course I don't eat healthy all the time! I love indulging on delicious, not so healthy foods. 😁

Having one 'anything goes meal' each week is an effective strategy to make healthy eating sustainable and can also help keep your metabolic rate high. •
•
When I do indulge, I do it right. Meaning, if I want some pasta I don't settle for basic spaghetti, I go to an incredible Italian restaurant or whip up my own using @jovial einkorn pasta and delicious pesto. 🌿
•
I also try to time my intake of starch post workout after my glycogen stores have been depleted. After an epic meal like this, I love to go on a nice long walk with @ashleygaetan and our dog Lana for some movement. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🐾
