Although many of you are likely hating these hot summer days, it's important to focus on the positive aspects of things outside of your control. 🙂

Most people don't like sweating. Its certainly not helpful in social situations since our society frowns upon pit stains and smelling like a human. 👃🏼🤦🏻‍♂️

I am here to tell you that sweating is an important physiological function and packs a number of health benefits such as: 
1) Detoxification--carries harmful toxins out of our bodies 
2) Reduces acne--cleans out your pours 
3) Improves immune function--by way of reducing your toxic load 
4) Decreases risk for kidney stones 
5) And much more! •

I ❤️ sweating and make it a priority to sweat profusely just about everyday! Wether it be induced by exercise, hot yoga, sauna usage, or daily life on hot summer days..I embrace the heat and know it's providing numerous health benefits! •

A few quick tips to keep in mind: 
1) Always shower after a big sweating session since many of the toxins we excrete through sweat can be reabsorbed by the skin if left there (a cold shower is ideal, but more on that another time) 🚿🛁
2) Hydrate well and replenish lost minerals/electrolytes 💧💧💧
3) Don't over do it. Heat stroke is serious. Be smart and listen to your body. 🧠👂🏼
