This picture was taken on 17th July 2018 at Hamad International Airport in Qatar on a flight connection back from Australia to the UK after my Australia challenge. I would have loved to go into Doha but at the time I didn’t have a penny to my name.

Fast forward to today after a fair few laps of the world and more hard work than you can ever imagine, Qatar has invited me to join them on the road to the World Cup in 2022!
Football is a big part of my life, I’m a Liverpool season ticket holder and there’s nothing I would want more than to go to a World Cup tournament but I’ve never been in the position to go. In 2022, that’s changing!

Over the next few years I’m going to be visiting Qatar ahead of the build up for the World Cup and explore the country and experience the culture which I’m excited for! To see the stadiums being built and to witness the tournament while it’s on is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
