Some of my favourite memories of the last couple of weeks in India 🇮🇳

• In awe of the Taj Mahal, and slightly freezing my toes off but not caring because it’s so pretty! 
•  I took a photo in these doorways in 2016 and it was shared on wearetravelgirls (a big travel account, my first I was shared on!) It got me to something like 1,000 followers and it was the biggest deal! Now I’m back in this spot running my solo female tour ❤️ 
• Dancing in doorways in Jaipur at the end of the tour, this was such a gorgeous spot
• Golden Hour at the city palace in Jaipur is the best! It’s so peaceful and beautiful
• Yoga in Udaipur, which showed me that I really really need to slow down and meditate more when I’m on these tours! Otherwise the days go by so fast and you can’t appreciate them fully. I’m going to start each day on my future tours with a moment of mindfulness so I can be totally present
• The morning buzz at the Taj, if it wasn’t so cold I could have stayed her for hours!
• Afternoon tea at taj_amerjaipur - turn on the sound, it was so peaceful! We sat here for such a long time chatting that I thought they’d surely tell us to go 😂 
• Drinking chai on our food tour from a proper roadside chai stall, giving a real experience to the group 
• my favourite dish of the trip - if you cut me I’ll bleed paneer lababdar 🍅 I ate kilos 
• the best group of gals ever 🫶🏻

India has always been a special country to me; our first trip we were so green, looking back we were so scared of everything 😂 looking back we made so many mistakes! But that’s the fun bit of travel, learning as you go and figuring stuff out. Everyone gets a bit scared that they’ll make mistakes or not know what they’re going when they travel, and the truth is that…you will! That’s how you grow, and how you learn the ropes. 

Avoiding doing something until you can do it perfectly is a sure fire way to never give it a go at all! Book the flight, take the plunge, and go to places that scare you a bit. The rewards are beyond anything you can imagine! ❤️🫶🏻
