Worth every bit of effort to see this place in the flesh. 😍

I had this place on my bucket list for years after seeing photos of these alien-like Dragon’s Blood trees — a plant species that *only* exist on Socotra Island & nowhere else in the world…

It took several flights, visas, off-roading & broke down jeeps, nights of wild camping, hikes & mild injuries, and days exploring this remote island without WiFi & cell service… but it was so worth it.

Turns out it was even more breathtaking & magical to see in real life.
