I believe in dancing
through the ebbs and flows of life
in the same way we dance
on the ocean waves,
sometimes rocked and humbled,
sometimes graceful and victorious,
always messy and dusted
in the elements
and the evidence
— sand, salt, blood and bruise —
that we lived.
