Whether in practice, matches, or academics, being responsible for one’s actions creates a foundation for success,” shares Mehdi Rhazali, Director of Tennis at Drexel University (drexeltennis) 🐲 🎾 

Under Rhazali’s guidance, Drexel tennis has reached new heights, with the men's team earning a bid to the conference semifinals for the second year in a row and being ranked for the first time in program history by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Rhazali fosters a team environment where student athletes grow as leaders and develop lifelong skills and friendships that extend beyond their time on campus. 

“Drexel’s experiential learning model is a game-changer for student-athletes,” Rhazali explains. “The co-op program and hands-on learning opportunities teach them how to balance high-level competition with real-world professional experiences. It’s more than just time management — it’s about developing resilience, adaptability, and leadership in both athletics and their future careers. Our student-athletes learn to handle pressure, take initiative, and apply teamwork principles beyond the court, setting them up for long-term success.”
