There was a time I didn’t recognize the person in the mirror…not because of how I looked, but because of deeply I was hurting. I hid behind baggy clothes, fake smiles, and the belief that I wasn’t worthy of more. I carried the weight of pain, shame, and silence for years.

But I fought. Through the tears, the setbacks, the self-doubt. 182 pounds gone over the course of 8 years - and in their place, I found strength, pride, and peace.

And now… standing here in this moment, I feel free. I feel powerful. I feel like I am in the body I was always supposed to be in.

If you’re in the middle of the struggle, please don’t give up. You don’t have to have it all figured out today - just don’t stop showing up for yourself. Healing takes time. Confidence takes time. But it is possible. And you’re worth every second of the fight. 💫
