I recently had the opportunity to visit New York to speak about something close to my heart: respiratory syncytial virus (#RSV). #SanofiSponsored
 
As a mom, I understand how overwhelming caring for our kids can be, and RSV can be a big concern. While hospitalization is uncommon, serious RSV lung infection is the leading cause of hospitalization for babies under one. It typically spreads during the winter virus season (fall through spring, but varies by region) but can happen anytime, especially as older children are exposed outside the home in schools or daycares, bringing the virus back to vulnerable babies.
