Anchors Aweigh in Northport! ⚓️🌊

On June 7, 2025, Northport Village Park & Dock transformed into a vibrant maritime hub, celebrating our nautical heritage with over 100 vessels parading past the dock during the Blessing of the Fleet ceremony. Attendees explored a diverse array of vessels, from the US Merchant Marine Academy’s training ship to local fishing boats, and engaged in hands-on activities like the “Rain-Gutter Regatta” and life-saving drills. 

The day was filled with from the US Coast Guard maritime history exhibits, and a Brew competition! A heartfelt thank you to the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 22-02, the Village of Northport, and the Northport Chamber of Commerce for orchestrating this unforgettable celebration of our maritime past, present, and future. 🌊⛵️ #NorthportMaritimeDay #BlessingOfTheFleet #NauticalHeritage #CommunityCelebration
