Poshinprogress.com is 12 🎉 

Twelve years ago, I sat under a canopy of blooming jacarandas in Southern California, completely enchanted by their purple magic. I couldn’t stop pointing them out, like a child discovering beauty for the first time. That wonder became the seed for Posh in Progress. My first blog post was short, simple—just a love letter to those trees, and to this new adventure I was about to begin.

I had no idea then what this little blog would become.

In the twelve years since, Posh in Progress has grown into something so much more than a website. It’s been a passport to unbelievable experiences—from cruising the Mediterranean, to theme park openings, to collecting passport stamps with my kids in tow. It’s been the recipes tested in my kitchen that now live on your tables. The crafts we’ve made, the outfits you’ve loved, the trips I never imagined I’d experience.

But more than anything—it’s the people. The readers who’ve become friends. The brands who saw my vision and said yes. The creatives, writers, and entrepreneurs who inspired me to keep going. The community that kept showing up even when I wasn’t sure I could.

Through job changes, a new baby, finishing my Ph.D, cross-country moves, motherhood, writing a children’s book, and so much more, this blog has been my constant. A place to share my love of fashion, food, family, travel, and those little things that make life feel extraordinary—just like those jacarandas did on day one.

Last weekend, I stood under the blooms again, and all I felt was gratitude. I am grateful. So very grateful for my hard work and consistency, for the support of my loved ones and family who work by my side, for the friendships and the brands who believe in me, for it all. 

Thank you for twelve beautiful years. I can’t wait to see what comes next. 💜
