When Ted and his sister Penny wandered off from their family’s property in Australia, a search began in a bid to find them.

The pair were missing for four whole days when a neighbour discovered Penny standing at the opening of a 26-foot deep mineshaft.

Sadly, Ted had fallen in... 😢

Thankfully, CFA’s Oscar 1 Technical Rescue team from Bendigo - with the support of Trentham Fire Brigade and Forest Fire Management Victoria - were on hand to help out.

Descending down the shaft, the team managed to save Ted and reunite him with Penny and his family.

As you can see, Ted was overjoyed at being saved and couldn’t stop wagging his tail out of sheer excitement and gratitude. 🥰

Shout out to the incredible team at CFA for bringing this doggo home. 👏🙌
