This is hands down the BEST video example of CPRIC I’ve ever come across. 

It will definitely be part of the update to my CPRIC continuing education course, Raising the Dead: Managing CPR Induced Consciousness, avail now on my website. 

Thank you to the person who sent this in to me for us to all learn from! Video footage of this phenomenon is extremely RARE! 

Many healthcare providers deny its existence altogether (ahem, Margaret 😒) and the AHA won’t address it. 

This increases the risk of trauma to the patient and moral injury to the provider when they’re unfamiliar with this type of patient presentation and how to safely manage it without compromising the chance of survival to the patient. 

Also, kudos to this crew who made an effort to verbally reassure and comfort Kevin, always remembering that he was still in the room with them 😌
