I saw marvelstudios was having a fan art competition and had to enter!! This is honestly my favorite piece to date. Dr strange is one of my favorite if not favorite character. I’ve been doing split images lately as you all know and have been wanting to do a Wanda/strange painting. I saw an official image of Wanda from the movie floating over her pit and then another of dr strange floating in the window. I wanted to stitch these two together to make a split image to match my style. I’m sure you all know the images I’m talking about. Those images I saw are ones that marveldsign had obviously also used so I felt that it was ok to use his stitched picture as a reference since I don’t think you can qualify official images as your own creative work. . I then of course used my own ideas, like my signature drips, color sides and other elements. And made sure not to use anything that he did. I have felt that I made this into my own piece of work but If you feel that I have violated that then I will withdraw from the comp. thanks!
