At 00:41am last night 3 young people decided to break our windows. We've seen a HUGE increase in vandalism recently and we're fed up. We've had emergency glaziers numerous times and we've had to replace several doors
.
We can't share CCTV because of various legal implications (they appear to be under 18 for one)
.
However, it shows:
.
Three young people: a female with dark hair tied in a ponytail in a dark jacket & bottoms; a male with a dark hooded jacket with a blonde/light brown quiff poking out from under the hood & a balaclava or mouth covering & black gloves; and a male with mid-length brown or blonde hair & a dark two-tone hooded jacket
.
They try the locked doors
.
The female watches the front while the males proceed down St Ann's Alley and throw the first rock
.
A female resident of the apartment building opposite returns home via Cross Street and disturbs them and they walk away down St Ann's Alley. The resident enters the apartment block but turns in the doorway as though she has been called. The three youngsters then come into the doorway of the apartment building and speak to the resident for 25 seconds
.
This resident must have seen their faces as she was very close to them
.
The resident goes into the building and the youngsters return to the alley
.
They come back to the window and throw more rocks before leaving through St Ann's Churchyard
.
The police are involved but without support it's unlikely anything will be done
.
If you're the person in the apartment building opposite who talked with them, any information you can provide would be gratefully received. We've left a note at your door
.
If the apartment building management has any footage that would also be fantastic
.
We're currently working closely with our landlords on implementing a programme of much needed renovations to breathe new life into the building and this kind of thing doesn't help
.
