coldplay came to empowerfieldatmilehigh for its Music of the Spheres World Tour on Tuesday, June 10, with support from Willow and Elyanna. The British rock band has become an international phenomenon since forming in London in 1997, while its members were studying at University College London.

Coldplay quickly rose to prominence with its 2000 debut album, Parachutes, which included the hit single “Yellow,” and has since evolved its sound through successive releases like A Rush of Blood to the Head, X&Y and Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends — amassing multiple Grammy Awards and impressive global record sales along the way.
