Tucked away in downtown Meridian is a spot I’m honestly so glad I found primitive.grounds 
It’s peaceful, intentional, and feels like a place you actually want to slow down in. Everything is organic, and the drinks are truly one of a kind—like the Wild Rose (Espresso, steamed oat milk, rose syrup. Garnished with crushed cose Petals & cardamom) and Dust Storm (Dirty chai with espresso). I loved the Coconut Grove Matcha Refresher (Tropical, creamy, and refreshing)

It’s the kind of menu where you can taste that someone really cared about what went into it.
They’re women-owned, open every day from 6 to 6, and the location couldn’t be better—right in downtown Meridian with plenty of outdoor seating that makes it easy to linger, work, or catch up with a friend.
They’re also building a nature-inspired wellness studio theprimitivepath right next door—saunas, cold plunge, yoga—all designed for real people who want to take care of their mental and physical health.
Almost everything they use is locally sourced—raw honey, organic kombucha, fresh pastries, even small-batch chips. You can tell it’s a space built with so much intention.
