I have 3 questions for you guys:

1. When did you start watching the WNBA?
2. Why did you start watching the WNBA?
3. If there was only one team you could watch for the rest of the season, who would it be?

News just dropped today on WNBA & Fever ratings, both of which are down 50+% after Caitlin Clark’s injury. A lot of us were expecting viewership to dip but for half of the audience for the entire league to dissappear is WILD. Has there ever been an athlete that has commanded viewership like Caitlin? Tiger in golf? Maybe…

This is a huge year for the WNBA with it being a collecting bargaining year and the league needs all the help it can get. But is Caitlin Clark’s injury and the subsequent decline in viewership also fans boycotting the league? We’ve seen the way the media has acted towards Caitlin, how officials have let players get away with hard fouls across the league, and fans are sick of it. This is a huge wake up call for the WNBA, whose future rides on Caitlin Clark.

Let me know what you guys think of the viewership drop in the comments!
