“As recruitment season rolls around, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on when I went through recruitment almost 2 years ago. I made the best decision going through recruitment and ultimately finding my home within AOII. As an incoming freshman going through recruitment, I was nervous and I didn’t know what to expect.  I was shy and was very in my shell. My first day of recruitment, I spoke to biviannarosado_ , who is now my perfect god-big, and instantly felt a connection like no other.  And it was when I was preffed by melissammar that I knew I had found a home that would accept every part of me. Now, in my past 2 years, I can say proudly that AOII has built up my confidence in ways I never expected and led me to leadership roles that have helped me grow so much. I was blessed with the best big in the world ariannaxrosado who guided me throughout the start of my college experience. I thank AOII everyday for bringing me my perfect little lilian.v06 and for bringing me one of my bestfriends isaxmorales_ . AOII has brought me out of my shell and pushed me to try new things like joining panthersdanceteamfiu and becoming D1 Hip-hop national champions with my sisters jjanesty , isaafaget , and lilian.v06.
