Did you know? Nineteen prisms (of the 370 prisms) from the original First Order Fresnel Lens (circa 1874) were damaged in 1986 when a vandal shot at the Lighthouse. 

📸 In the photos: The damaged pieces are cleaned in the working conservation lab on site at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum.
