Max Bahr ’27 of Orchard Park threw a strike to first to finish off his one-hitter as the Crusaders cruised to a title-clinching Game Three victory and the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association championship Saturday afternoon.
 
CHS, which won the last two games of the series to win the title, heads to the Catholic state championship next weekend.
 
Bahr struck out six, walked just two and pitched no-hit ball all the way into the sixth inning.
 
Canisius jumped out with one run in the first, took control with four runs in the second and made it a rout with four more in the fourth.
 
Luke Golembiewski ’28 of East Aurora was 2 for 4 with three RBIs wile Justin Ostempowski ’26 of Orchard Park had a bases-clearing double for three RBIs as eight Crusaders were in on the 10-hit performance.
 
Jack Ganci ’25 of Buffalo (two RBIs) and Gavin Eynon ’25 of Hamburg each scored two runs while Bahr and David Cloyd ’25 of West Seneca each walked twice. CHS batters worked six walks and only struck out two times.
