The Miners win! ⛏️

Sussex County defeated the ottawa_titans, 6-2, at Ottawa Stadium in Ottawa, Canada. The Miners have now won four straight, notching a third consecutive game with double-digit hits. They look to sweep the series in tomorrow’s matinee.

In tonight’s contest, the Miners came from behind to take the lead in the fifth inning, 2-1. Ottawa tied the game in the sixth, but Sussex County tacked on insurance runs in the seventh and added two more in the eighth.

The Miners remain on top of the frontier_league’s Atlantic Conference East Division with a 19-7 record. Tune in for tomorrow’s first pitch at 1:00 PM.

Hunter D’Amato (hunter_damato) shined tonight with a 2-5 performance, scoring two runs and driving in three. He logged his seventh double of the season and raised his average to .310.
