A huge thank you to everyone who showed up again for our community cleanup this weekend! This one was extra special, as we came together to clean the area surrounding the Eastside Boys & Girls Club—a place I spent a lot of time at growing up.

This effort wasn’t just about picking up trash. It was about standing together as a united front for the kids who are watching us. And believe me—they are watching. Every bag of trash picked up, every conversation shared, every act of service—it all sends a powerful message: we care, and their future matters.

Community isn’t just a word—it’s an action. It’s showing up shoulder to shoulder with neighbors, friends, elders, and young people to pour love back into the spaces that raised us. When we take pride in where we’re from, we teach the next generation to do the same.

This is bigger than a cleanup. It’s a movement rooted in love, accountability, and hope. The kind of hope that tells our youth they are not alone—that they are part of something greater. That they have a village behind them, clearing the path so they can confidently walk into their purpose.

Wichita Falls is rich in heart, heritage, and resilience. And together, we’re going to keep building a future where our children feel seen, supported, and inspired—every step of the way.
