Plenty of personality…and plenty of talent 😍 Grade I Winner EAST AVENUE, a son of Medaglia d’Oro, returned to his winning ways Sunday as he took them wire-to-wire in the GIII Matt Winn Stakes at Churchill Downs.

The Godolphin homebred, trained by Brendan Walsh, was eighth in the GI Kentucky Derby last time out and today, faced off with three of his fellow Derby graduates: Burnham Square, Coal Battle, and Final Gambit.

Now 3-for-7 in his career, East Avenue is nearing millionaire status with earnings totaling $901,395.
