On this day 25 years ago: Audi won the 24 Hours of Le Mans on their second attempt in the prototype class. 👑

Bringing the aerodynamically revised R8, and admittedly faced with few serious challengers, they still secured a 1-2-3 finish - and to finish first, first you must finish! 😮‍💨 It began both a remarkable run of thirteen wins from eighteen starts for the German marque, and one of the greatest partnerships in motorsport history with the Le Mans GOAT, Tom Kristensen. 🤝🐐
