Happy Father’s Day to all the many folks who play the role of father in a person’s life!

If I had to make only ONE dish in the world for Father’s Day, this jjajangmyeon or Korean-Chinese black bean noodle dish would be it! My dad LOVES this dish and the best compliment I’ve ever received on my cooking was the time I made it for him and he declared “You should open a restaurant!”
