Smart glasses that actually look good? 🤔

When I was at Galaxy Unpacked I saw the homie Andres wearing the evenrealities glasses everywhere for his video and saw a couple others too, and it really piqued my interest.

So they sent me their Even G1 b glasses to try and honestly, they surprised me. They have this built-in HUD that shows the time, date, notifications and widgets.

They even have an AI assistant, but in contrast with my Ray Ban Meta glasses, they don’t have multi-modal AI with a camera, and they don’t have speakers, it’s a simple one-question chatbot that either uses ChatGPT or Perplexity.

But everything is portrayed in such a simple, struggle-free operating system. It’s kind of nice.

The best part? They actually look like normal glasses you'd want to wear. Nothing bulky, nothing heavy. Just simple, glasses. And you can get prescription lenses for them too, making them great for people who already wear glasses regularly.

¿Gafas inteligentes que realmente se ven bien? 🤔

Cuando estuve en Galaxy Unpacked, vi a mi amigo Andrés usando las evenrealities en todo momento para su video, y también a otras personas, lo que despertó mi interés.

Me enviaron las Even G1 b para probarlas y, sinceramente, me sorprendieron. Tienen una pantalla HUD integrada que muestra la hora, fecha, notificaciones y widgets.

También incluyen un asistente de IA, pero a diferencia de mis Ray-Ban Meta, no tienen IA multimodal con cámara ni altavoces. Es simplemente un chatbot de una pregunta que usa ChatGPT o Perplexity.

Y todo funciona con un sistema operativo simple y sin complicaciones. Se siente bastante bien.

¿La mejor parte? Se ven como gafas normales que realmente querrías usar. Nada voluminoso ni pesado, solo unas gafas simples. Además, puedes ponerles lentes de prescripción, lo que las hace perfectas para quienes ya usan gafas a diario.
