Working with Tropical Storm Debby 🌀

Over here on the East Coast we're getting hit by the Tropical Storm so it's been a pretty productive but chill work day.

Really been enjoying the Galaxy S24 Ultra as my main work device, mostly to browse through social, post, and transfer files back and forth between my PC.

A couple of things I've noticed:

Social media apps are rough around the edges, especially when compared to their iOS counterparts. Lot's of bugs where the interface will get laggy, freeze or just stop working.

I'm having a really difficult time adjusting to the way you select text and words 😂 I'm slowly getting used to it.

I noticed a lot more apps force themself into the background and send you notifications non-stop (remote camera apps, weather, etc.)

On that note, attending the Pixel event next week so I'm pretty excited to see how the Pixel phone compares.

Trabajando con la Tormenta Tropical Debby 🌀

La Tormenta Tropical está golpeando la Costa Este, así que ha sido un día productivo pero tranquilo.

Estoy usando el Galaxy S24 Ultra como mi dispositivo principal para trabajar, sobre todo en redes sociales y transferencia de archivos entre mi PC.

Algunas observaciones:

Las apps de redes sociales tienen más fallos en Android que en iOS. A veces se ponen lentas o se congelan.

Me está costando acostumbrarme a seleccionar texto.

Muchas apps siguen enviando notificaciones sin parar.

¡La próxima semana estaré en el evento de Pixel y estoy emocionado por ver cómo se compara!
