Shield AI’s first aircraft, Nova—powered by our AI Pilot, Hivemind—was a fully autonomous quadcopter that has deployed in combat since 2018. It has operated alongside elite U.S. and allied special operations forces, clearing the most dangerous indoor environments and tunnel systems without risking human lives.

Our next aircraft powered by Hivemind, V-BAT, has successfully been executing operations normally reserved for far more expensive and larger aircraft in the most contested environments on the planet—including those with surface-to-air missiles and GPS and comms jamming.
