"I never want to be old and boring," Aminé says. "I want to feel like a kid when I'm 45... never lose that childlike attitude about things." The Portland native lives his life in full color, and on '13 Months Of Sunshine,' he takes his time to tell a story (even if it's on vacation with his dad), which applies to every aspect of his creative process. Whether it's immersing fans into his world with an album rollout or designing sneakers with New Balance, everything is intentional when it comes to Aminé, and he's more than grateful for it. A decade into his career, Aminé keeps evolving, holding an "adapt or die" mindset with everything he does. While "Caroline" was the catalyst to it all, the rapper has seamlessly found ways to evolve his artistry, stay invested in what he cherishes and most importantly, take care of his friends and family. He's doing the best he can, after all.
